Observer Interactive

Wow, It Has Been a Month

Been longer than anticipated for blog updates, but there’s good reason. We’ve been doing a lot, and there’s more coming:

  • released thatsracin.com v3, which will very soon lead to 3.1. That release will include even more user-driven feedback and requested changes and will drop in early April.
  • released an entirely new Classified engine, eliminating many of the legacy issues existent for many years.
  • released momscharlotte.com v2, which allows for better groups, user communities, comments and sharing.
  • attended mediaXchange, a conference on future of newspapers
  • In April, we’ll release our Yahoo! APT platform
  • In April, we’ll release our charlotteobserver.com iPhone site (probably sooner than April, just making sure)
  • In April, we’ll release a new CarolinaBride.com site
  • In April, we’ll update this site to better reflect what we do for our communities online

One last thing — we have a new twitter account to update the little things we’re doing online. Sometimes we just don’t update here due to the time it takes — which is not a reflection of us not caring! Please follow us and/or check it out at twitter.com/obs_interactive. Send us @replies. We’ll be listening.
