Unhooking Your Highlight Sets
I learned about this a few months ago: You can keep a highlight floating in a highlight set for later use by changing its asset group assignment to “Select One…”.
The producers here in Charlotte do a lot of this.
There is a problem with that method tho’. It lumps all the unassigned highlights at the top of the highlight set. To get to the content that is ~live~ you have to first wade through what is in limbo.
The solution here was to create another asset group called “Unhooked.” We then pushed that asset group clear to the bottom of the highlight set. Now, when we want to unassign something we instead reassign it to “Unhooked” and it drops to the bottom of the page.
Ta-da!
NOTE: You may have to submit a request ticket to MI to have the asset group created.
